Merkur Group data protection coordinators meet at Benkhausen Castle

"The exchange with colleagues is an important building block for responsible data protection. We benefit from the perspectives of others and can develop solutions together," explains Ludwig Beckmann, Chief Privacy Officer the Merkur Group.

The workshop focused primarily on the topic of artificial intelligence. However, the focus was also on considerations in the areas of cybercrime and the Cyber Security Act, dealing with requests from affected parties and risk management. The central data protection department invited internal experts to give keynote speeches.

The workshop offered participants a valuable platform for exchanging ideas and further developing data protection topics and once again highlighted the importance of data protection both within the digital world and within the Merkur Group with its customers and gaming guests. This importance underlines the need to enable synergies within the Group and to consistently optimize the concerns surrounding this sensitive area.
